BFL CANADA’s Business Processes Team is looking for an Administrative Assistant for its Toronto Office!
As a member of our Business Processes Team, you will be reporting to the Vice President Business Processes (BP) and you will act as a support to the entire team. Responsibilities will include all aspects of the day-to-day maintenance of our Brokerage Management System, Applied Systems EPIC. If you are looking for a dynamic work environment, keep reading!
YOUR DAY AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
- Maintain our EPIC System
- Add/Delete/ Configure User Accounts
- Manage User Security
- Manage and Coordinate System Upgrades
- Develop, Manage and Distribute Reports
- Ad hoc Reporting for Management
- Assist EPIC Core Team Members on Projects
- Follow Corporate Policies and Procedures
- Respond to E-mail and Telephone Calls for Absent Team Members
- Other Miscellaneous Duties and Special Projects as Required
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Post-secondary education and at least two years of experience in a similar administrative role
- Experience in, and knowledge of the insurance industry
- Customer focused
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team with members of the organization and vendors
- Ease with computer systems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions with minimal supervision and take initiative
- Ability to set own priorities while maintaining flexibility
- Thorough, attentive to detail and quality
