Our client is a Global Property Development firm who are world renown for the development of iconic mega projects worldwide. Their key projects are international hotels and resorts and well as in country city and land developments across Asia, Africa and Qatar. Our client now seeks to recruit an Advisor – Sales and Marketing to assist the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer to develop the sales and marketing strategy to ensure maximization of revenue, customer satisfaction and brand awareness whilst remaining aligned to the firm’s overall strategy and vision.
Reporting to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (Qatari National), this role is responsible for the following:
Strategy Formulation
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the Vision and Strategy for the firm ensuring alignment to the long-term strategic objectives of the firm.
- Contribute to the overall process of management and corporate decision making to ensure the organisation maximises its short, medium- and long-term profitability and returns to its shareholders.
- Advise on sales and leasing policies and procedures.
- Assist in the design of sales and leasing incentives and training programs for sales agents.
Marketing & Customer Service
- Assist in recommendations for the overall marketing strategy for asset classes.
- Lead market competitive activities, market intelligence and benchmarking exercises.
- Develop unique selling propositions, rationale and marketing calendars.
- Lead the development of supporting marketing and sales materials (sales collaterals etc.)
- Lead the relationship with marketing and promotional event agencies (selection, fees etc.)
- Establish control and monitoring mechanisms to evaluate marketing activities’ effectiveness.
- Review customer satisfaction surveys and develop strategies and actions to ensure high quality customer experience.
- Lead the development of customer service guidelines.
- Verify the maintenance of existing and potential client databases.
- Provide inputs to master plan for new future developments e.g., market intelligence, benchmarking, etc.
- Oversee the management and execution of PR and Corporate Communications activities and associated third party agencies.
- Oversee resolution of escalated customer complaints on an ad hoc basis and monitor and prompt resolutions, accordingly to agreed SLAs.
The attributes we seek for this role comprise:
- A Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or Economics is required from a recognised University with a Master’s Degree/ MBA in a related field being highly regarded.
- 15-+ years of experience in real estate commercial and marketing activities, with presence / experience in the GCC.
- ln-depth knowledge of Qatar/GCC real estate market dynamics and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing effective sales strategies (sales plan development, 3rd party management, achieving and exceeding sales targets for multiple real estate asset clauses (QAR>1 Billion of annual sales and QAR>1.5 Billion of annual leasing profits).
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective marketing, customer satisfaction and communication strategies (in-depth market understanding, powerful and innovative consumer insights generation, large multimedia and advertising budget management, advertising, media and PR agency management.
- Highly creative, organized and proactive / go-getter attitude.
- Ability to coach and develop people skills.
- Experience in expatriate environment is essential.
