Job Description

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Business Analysts , we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Mine and leverage large amounts of data from a variety of sources in order to help the business drive revenue growth and/or efficiencies
  • Identify opportunities and assist the organization with making data-driven decisions
  • Develop models with advanced data visualization that identify and forecast trends and cause-effect relationships, lead to recommendations, and measurably maximize operational efficiency
  • Participate in problem solving initiatives, collaborating within a cross functional team of specialists, to design innovative solutions for clients and business leaders
  • Develop and maintain dashboard level management reporting
  • Deliver research and analysis to enable discussions on operational performance, industry benchmarks, financial forecasts and investment decisions
  • Translate business requirements into a scalable data model and coordinate with Technology teams for development and management of Data Warehouses/Data Marts
  • Explore new internal and external sources of information to uncover new business opportunities at all levels of the business
  • Identify data gaps in reporting; provide recommendations, solutions and implementation of strategies to acquire and report on such information
  • Develops and maintains effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as clients, District Managers, Managers and Supervisors.
  • Facilitate software demonstrations for clients and the operations teams.
  • Provide application level user support, end-user documentation, training materials, and operational instructions that clearly and accurately reflect each system's functionality.
  • Performs instructor led training for end users via in person, classroom, or web based training.
  • Responsible throughout the project life cycle; help determine priorities while balancing business needs against other development projects.
  • Ability to prioritize independently, multiple requests and system requirements to meet the organizational goals.
  • Act as the Project Manager for the system roll out and implementation
  • Hands on instruction and implementation on site.
  • Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and setup issues
  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications

  • Under-graduate degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience working directly with Operations, preferably in a Healthcare Environment .
  • Experience with web technologies, analytics and numbers
  • Hands on experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Knowledge of database architecture and management
  • Demonstrated experience in process analytics and process flow documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and documentation skills
  • Highly analytical and able to extract key insights from data then communicate them clearly and effectively to stakeholders
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Physical ability to withstand frequent to prolonged sitting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot system problems related to computer or software systems and initiate internal or external resolution to system issues.

Abilities required

  • Must be customer service-oriented.
  • Good knowledge of PC’s and general troubleshooting.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills required
  • Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
  • Must be able to analyze and document complex business processes.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry, specifically hospital support service operations, is a plus.
  • Travel is very minimal but occasionally required
