Overview:

Huxley is currently working with a well renowned financial services company that is on the lookout for a Chief Risk Officer. If you have experience within managing a risk function, this could be perfect for you.

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible to develop and maintain risk management function in the entire bank; taking care of multiple risk units: Credit market, Operational, Interest Rate, and Liquidity.

- Evaluate all risk related policies, procedures and systems to ensure compliance with Basel II and Basel III.

- Responsible for communicating risk awareness and risk information to the executive management and other relevant business departments.

- Experience in developing strategies for mitigating risk in order to improve risk asset structure while being compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements.

- Develop and implement risk management processes and methodologies for identification, measurement, evaluation and reporting of risk in a timely manner.

- Evaluate and analyse the organisation - widen risk profile by developing risk monitoring and risk management techniques. Advises the executive management in establishing risk management program consisting of effective controls, compliance policies, processes and methods.

- Monitors compliance of business units with the bank's policies, procedures and limits.

- Provide and adequate assessment of the level of risks assumed and measured through empirical techniques and other appropriate tools, and take all possible measures to mitigate those risks.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 16 year's experience within the financial services industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master's degree in Business Administration
• Excellent skills in risk management and assessment analysis and a solid understanding of the business and financial market in the region.
