Client Services Representative - Environmental - Full time permanent - Burnaby

This position will work out of our Environmental laboratory facility in Burnaby, BC. This is a Full time permanent contract position requiring flexible hours.

As a Client Services Representative, you will be part of a team responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. You possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask and work under pressure. You are the first line of communication between our clients and the laboratories.

Your specific day to day duties will include:

• Answering multiple technical questions in a timely fashion
• Ensure lab results are delivered on time
• Ensure client special requests are fulfilled as per their specifications
• Ensuring all QC measures have been met before reports are presented to the client
• Proactively ensure overall satisfaction of clients including communication to management team as appropriate
• Research all client inquiries to complete resolution, enter corresponding orders/quotes with complete documented follow up
• Provide clear, concise and accurate information to operations as it pertains to client projects (including but not limited to rush and ongoing projects)
• Report analytical results to clients within expected turnaround times (TAT’s)

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. or Diploma in Environmental Sciences considered an asset
• Previous Industry knowledge and experience considered an asset
• Customer Service Experience considered an asset
• Helpful, good natured and friendly even under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Excellent computer skills; knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite, able to learn lab information systems
• Must be organized and able to multi-task; can successfully deliver on multiple deadlines
• Excellent time-management
• Willing to work as part of a team
