Job Description

Responsible of long and short term potato storage in Cold Store. This position is responsible for the regular supplies of good quality Potatoes for processing at different locations and keep cold stores (factory as well as 3rd party) under good working condition.

• Ensure continuous supply of potatoes for PC line.
• Supervise proper storage of potatoes in Cold Store & regular check of temperature, humidity & CO2.
• Ensure stored potato inspection on shift basis.
• Weekly preparation of potato condition report.
• Ensure relevant on time data in Excel and Oracle.
• Maintenance of the cold store cooling system through finding competitive service providers agent
• Suggestion and execution of CIPC methodology to keep the potatoes in good health.
• Maintain good, professional relationship with all departments & also with the suppliers.
• Ensure a complete and true record keeping of potato inventory.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste as per protocol.
• Manage Labor at all work stations in cold store
• Comply with risk mitigation of significant safety hazards on which complete orientation has been given during safety induction
• Maintain good housekeeping and product safety in order to ensure compliance against AIBI, IPS, FSSC 22000 and CRP standards.
