We are looking for an enthusiastic Communications Coordinator/Document Controller to manage our external and internal communications. You will promote a positive public image and control the dissemination of information on our company’s behalf. Experience in corporate communications and project management are important qualities too. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude will help you gain the trust of colleagues and external parties alike.
Part of your role will be Document Control - to prepare, manage and file documents for our projects. Document Controller responsibilities include creating, organizing, management and maintenance of company documents and ensuring all team members have access to necessary documentation. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience reviewing technical documents along with the ability to spot errors. Ultimately, you’ll support our procedures maintaining transparent, up-to-date and easily traceable documents.

Duties
- Responsible for the overall creation, organization, management and maintenance of company documents
- Develop and execute internal and external communications consistent with organizational policies and procedures
- Procurement of promotional and marketing materials, as well as printed documents/forms
- Design various promotional products and marketing materials
- Social media management
- Work with department heads to create documents for their use
- Assist with employee engagement and event planning
- Ensure that all internal and external communications and products are in line with Alstar's brand
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
- Flexible and adaptable

- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Minimum 2 years experience in document control and communications is preferred
- Post secondary diploma in Business Administration or Communications preferred
