Role Summary:
The On Wing Customer Support Planner will be responsible for key functional, business, andcompany objectives. In this role, you will manage complex issues affecting Customer and the
business, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. You
will work with the larger OWS team (including headquarters), as well as a cross-functional team
from other divisions/organizations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Manage Customer Workscope requests from Inquiry to Invoice, whichincludes:

Work with the Customer to schedule work to meet
Operational requirements - Identify Parts, Consumables, PPE, Tooling, Equipment
and Facility required to perform a specific
Workscope. -
Allocate suitably qualified OWS Technicians to ensure Customer requests are
fulfilled - Liaise with Customer / on site GE personnel (FSE, CPM etc.) for all logistical
needs (Parts,
Tooling, Security badges, Facility, Cranage etc.) - Plan large, first-time workscopes;
serve as a key advisor to the larger team on new workscopes - Co-ordinate the
Ordering / Shipping / Receiving of Material and Tooling - Invoicing to meet financial
targets
Primary Point of Contact for OWS – Customer relations - Review and monitor costs
associated with Workscopes to achieve Margin targets - Develop Team culture and
foster an environment for continuous improvement - Promote compliance to Quality,
EHS and Integrity requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Apprenticeship / Degree / Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering
- Minimum of
5 years of Aviation Industry experience - Knowledge of EASA Part 145, GCAA
CAR145 and FAA FAR 145 requirements - Able to read, navigate and understand
Technical Manuals such as IPC, AMM and ESM
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience working with or for OWS
- Experience as an OWS
Technician - Organized, Clear Thinker and able to multi task
- Strong
Communicator and ability to influence - Experienced in dealing face to face with
Customers (internal and external) - Work cross functionally with Quality, Engineering,
Finance and EHS - Good IT skills
