Female Salon Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily salon operations
  • Employee management: Recruitment, training, development, task delegation, motivation, and retention.
  • Organize employees’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality
  • Strategic planning for managing and market the salon in order to build clientele
  • Manage and handle clients with exceptional grace.
  • Order beauty products, like creams and essential oils and replenish stock
  • Arrange for regular maintenance services for all equipment
  • Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations
  • Ensure all beauty treatments meet high-quality standards
  • Maintain staff records, including salaries and working schedules
  • Promote services, products, and discounts on social media
  • Track all transactions and payments.
  • Keep updated records of costs and revenues (e.g. daily, monthly and quarterly)
  • Run online competitions on social media and offer discount packages to attract new customers

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Beauty Salon Manager or similar role
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to handle customers’ requests and complaints with grace.
  • Good knowledge of beauty treatments and products (e.g. for skin care)
  • Basic book keeping knowledge
  • At least a bachelors degree in Business Administration or relevant fields
  • Must have a basic understanding of computer, social media, internet, printers, phones, and customer management software and apps are needed to digitally manage a modern salon
