Guest Relations Agent is responsible for welcoming and escorting the guest to their room in a friendly and caring manner in according to the Kempinski standard.

Çırağan Palace Kempinski İstanbul is the only Ottoman Imperial Palace and Hotel on the Bosphorus. Our Hotel offers a resort ambience in the city and reflects the ultimate luxury of a genuine Ottoman Palace. With a total of 31 rooms, including 279 rooms and 20 suites in the main hotel section and 11 suites in the imperial palace section the hotel’s restaurants&bars, offer a blissful culinary experience. Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul is regarded as the city’s most distinguished high profile meetings & congresses for private companies, or extravagant weddings & social events that create memories to remember for a life time experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-check all guest requirements 3 days prior to arrival and again the day before.
  • Pre-check all VIP arrival rooms and ensure that all rooms are clean and ready upon check in.
  • Greet arrivals and escort all guests to the rooms and suites.
  • Meet all VIP’s and other important guests at the airport, if necessary and escort to hotel.
  • Fully responsible for guest relations desk in main hotel lobby and ensure that the lobby is manned and well maintained at all times.
  • Update guest profile.
  • Interacts with all guests as well as individuals outside the Hotel.
  • Completion of all administration activities relating to Private Concierge.
  • During peak period, provides help and support to the Front Desk, Executive Floor and Concierge Desk with check-in, check out and handling guest requests
  • Handles guest requests and complaints in a polite and efficient manner, gives further instructions to the relevant staff if needed to ensure customer satisfaction and maintains a record of all requests received from all guests. Follows up when necessary.
  • Relieves Business Center and Front Desk employees when needed.
  • Informs other operating departments, notably Housekeeping and Food and Beverage Departments on matters that concern them.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned to him/her by management.

Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a 5 star hotel is preferred,
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programmes,
  • Guest service oriented
  • Strategic thinking
  • Motivating others
