SUMMARY OF ROLE
Directly manage the Process Systems & Solutions (PSS) Sales Team and engage with all appropriate customers to plan, develop and control the implementations of Sales Initiatives to achieve orders volume and profitability targets for agreed product lines in the agreed sales territory.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the achievement of Sales, Bookings and Gross Profit targets for the appropriate
product lines in the agreed sales territory.
• Define the budget for PSS Sales in Turkey and Southern Caspian and grow the business.
• Identify the market requirements and specifics, develop and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability.
• Lead the development, reviewing process and communicate the consistent business development plan for designated area of responsibility to Emerson organization.
• Actively visit customers and seek new opportunities to promote products, services and solutions of Emerson.Making sure CRM is used.
• Lead and support the PSS sales team by setting clear and measurable business objectives.
• Identify the needs and profiles for people resources required to implement agreed sales initiatives.
• Actively support the hiring process, participate in interviews, negotiate the compensation packages, provide justification for dismissal and resignations of designated people resources with the support of available HR team.
• Identify the needs and actively support the process of skills and talents development withing the designated team using available Performance excellence process and tools.
• Report regularly to General Manager on market trends, competition strategies and customer behavior which may affect the Emerson business strategies.
• Maintain and regularly update business expectations within the designated region using President’s Operation Report and Sales & Opeartions Planning Processes together with the Sales team.
• Sign and co-sign the Business contracts and transactions with customers on behalf of the company within the applicable rules and policies.
• Participate in customer development activities as trade shows, fairs, conferences aiming to promote the sale of products, solutions and services of designated region.
• Improve customer satisfaction by inderstanding, communicating and executing solutions to their needs.
• Continuously drive the improvement of customer safisfaction by understanding, communicating and executing solutions to their needs.
• Cooperate closely with operations, order management, project execution and service teams to ensure the appropriate delivery of commitments to customer and maximize the customer’s overall satisfaction.
• Ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company’s Trade Compliance procedures and to escalate any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Engineering degree
• Understands and able to deliver IIOT, Industry 4.0 solutions
• Good knowledge of DCS, PLC,SIS and various automation control system technologies
• Having a good knowledge on reliability systems is a plus like rotating machinery protection &
failure prediction
• Minimum +8 years experience in Direct Sales and Sales Management, including people management
• At least 5-10 years work experience in industrial automation or heavy industries (O&G
Upstream; Midstream; Refining; Gas processing, Storages and LNGs; Power; M&M; Petrochemical; Chemical; Fertilizers etc.) with automation technologies and industry business drivers understanding
• Strong personality with the ability to communicate with all levels within and outside of the organization
• Leadership and management experience to motivate and lead teams, including cross
functional teams in a complex matrix organization
• Passionate to win and ability to close sales, follow-up
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to travel,fly in the region and abroad
• Driving licence
