In this role, you will execute the day to day social media activities of the airline. You will assist in defining programmes to use social media marketing techniques with the activities being to increase visibility, engagement and traffic for Qatar Airways website. You will also coordinate QR content management and publication on all social media channels as well as monitoring user-generated content and mentions relevant to QR on Social Media space. You will also liaise with internal QR departments to channel conversations from social channels to relevant business units and customer service channels.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Handling day to day content management on QR social media channels
- Executing social media plan and strategy as directed by the team manager
- Monitoring and reporting Qatar Airways daily conversations and mentions on social channels to analyse effective benchmarks for measuring impact of Qatar Airways on social media
- Assist and liaise with external agencies and internal stakeholders to implement the correct key messages and visual content
- Create weekly and monthly social media reports
To be successful in this role, you will need four years of similar experience preferably combined with a Bachelors level qualification. You should have sound social media writing experience with an excellent command of the English languages. Strong team-working skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment are essential. You should also possess a natural creative flair and be willing to experiment with new ideas and approaches.
