Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assisting in organizing and if necessary, undertaking, local purchases ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • Assisting in liaising with suppliers for all local purchases
  • Monitor availability of supplies and material (e.g. stationary, cleaning products, consumables in general).
  • Responsible for office repair and maintenance.
  • Assist Logistic Officers in regard to Logistics Folders, for all projects and purchases, are ready to be audited.
In addition to the above, the supply chain Assistant may be asked to carry out other duties requested by the Logistics Manager or Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • BA/BSC in relevant field. At least 1 years’ work experience or similar: Experience of project management or international development/humanitarian and NGO sector works would be an advantage.
  • Must have excellent communications skills, oral Conversation and written.
  • Must have excellent self-motivation skills.
  • Ability to relate to and motivate staff effectively.
  • Creativity and the ability to work with limited resources.
  • Excellent decision making skills.
  • English writing speaking and presentation skills.
