Job Description

Position Purpose
To perform the reporting and accounting requirements for the statutory inventory and COGS.
To ensure compliance with statutory guidelines on a timely and accurate basis.
To support reporting in month end closing and reporting activities for Novartis and Farmanova.

Major Accountabilities

• Preparing and submitting all type of tax declaration forms at required intervals
• Preparing statutory/tax bookings, month-end and year end closing reports
• Conducting Transfer Pricing Reports in cooperation with local auditors and Corporate Tax
• Cupporting tax audits
• Supporting VAT return process
• Conducting relevant SOX controls
  

Minimum Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 3-4 years of experience on Big 4
• Strong knowledge of tax law and statutory regulations
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Turkish
• SAP knowledge is an asset
• Having a local CPA certificate (SMMM)
• Proven ability to work as a team member
• Excellent coordination skills with internal and external customers
