About the Role

We are looking for a responsible IT engineer to administer and organize all types of TS projects, from simple activities to more complex plans.

Responsibilities include working closely with TS Manager to prepare comprehensive project’s action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. You will also provide structured cabling (Copper and Fiber) assessment and support work for all QR projects.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.

Ultimately, the Project Coordinator’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.

About You

To be eligible for this role, you must have :

• BSc in Engineering or Computer Science Degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of job-relevant experience required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner.
• ITILv3 Foundation.
• CAPM/Prince2/6 Sigma is a plus.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinating project calendar, assets, people and information
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to define project requirements, scope and objectives
• Assist to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects.
• Administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation from initiating to closing and handling financial queries.
• Oversee project procurement management including raising purchase requisitions using corporate ERP system.
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
• Support the Structured Cabling (copper and Fiber) deployed across the Qatar Airways network.
• Liaise with external suppliers and internal teams involved in projects to meet the business requirements
• Ensure IT process and procedures are followed in line with all established corporate IT policies.
• Review company’s IT service portal system and respond to service requests (ITSRs) raised by internal stakeholders.
• Conduct IT related site surveys (Cabling, Telephone, Wireless & Wired Network) to validate and determine scope of work required.
