Client Services and Sales - Pakistan Karachi, Sindh

Role Purpose

To manage effectively a country’s RMS CSS team, in order to maximize revenue, adhere to OSVT requirements, and build effective leaders, to drive the business forward.

Accountabilities
  • Is accountable for the overall financial results and achievement of the RMS group in the country
  • Builds strong relationships with key clients trough top-to-top meetings and major MR events
  • Responsible for the development and expansions of RMS services within the country, looking for new business opportunities
  • Promotes Nielsen business and interests in every opportunity
  • Prepares and implements the department staffing plan as well as the business plan following the Nielsen commercial strategy for the country
  • Ensures the implementation of CMP and OSVT and monitors his team to ensure high quality service standards
  • Responsible for the training and development of his/her team
  • Develops and exhibits strong leadership competencies
  • Responsible for the formation of budget for his/her department and provides top management with thorough review of internal and client financials including budget and forecast
  • Provides “expert” advice and consultation to both clients and staff
  • Involved in strategic country management decisions as part of the management team

Relationship Management
  • Client(s) - Direct contact with premium clients, and presentations at top regional level
  • Internal - Account Manager, Group Account Manager, Country Manager, and GBS
  • External - Networking with heads of FMCG companies representing the company in conferences, seminars across and outside the region


Knowledge And Skills
  • University degree in Marketing or other related field a must, preferred postgraduate or MBA
  • 10+ years working experience in Market Research
  • Worked with clients in a service industry
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Strong Analytical mind
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Competent Negotiator with good influencing skills
  • Expertise in servicing customers and in-depth knowledge on RMS methods, analysis and techniques
  • Business acumen and good knowledge of the market dynamics
  • Computer Literate

  • Makes decisions that directly affect the country and/or area of revenue
  • Ensures that high quality standards are met across the country or area
  • Decisions affect achievement of department results for six or more months
  • Decisions regularly require the ability to develop alternative solutions based on previous experience
