Country Sales Manager (Luxury Brand)

Mployii, a Management Consultancy company is looking to hire a Country Manager for a prestigious Luxury Goods (Jewellery) company in the Qatar.


With over 190 stores and a global presence, this luxury Jewellery company is looking for a key hire, country manager to support their growth in Qatar.


It is essential given the nature of this role, that the candidate is already very familiar with the Qatar market and already has contacts and routes to revenue and sales mapped out.


For the right candidate, the company will also offer 25% profit share on top of their renumeration.


S\he will work with their team:


  • To deliver the retail sales targets in all accounts through motivating store team to promote the brand through recruiting, retaining and developing a best in class team
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with store management and store employees to achieve targets as set in line with company objectives
  • Working closely with marketing to devise and design marketing activities in line with local requirements
  • Help in delivery the brand training objective to the stores
  • To act as a brand ambassador and ensure effective communication of brand values both internally and externally
  • Help achieve sales targets by opening and building key relationships with clients resulting in revenue.
  • Propose and work closely with the team on specific launch objectives for particular brand lines
  • Prepare, implement and monitor a business plan for all stores to achieve retail targets including specific targets for key launches and sites
  • Implement launch strategy in line with marketing plans, negotiating sites and promotional activity at store level where appropriate
  • Close management of staff and monitoring of instore sales performance. Identify top performers and nurture their talent.
  • Review distribution, recommending store openings and retail units.
  • Identify space and location opportunities and negotiate locally when possible or recommend optimisation to Retail Store Manager
  • Ensure store staff are fully aware of the Marketing Plan, are fully trained on new launches/events and brand lines.
  • Implement and optimise merchandising guidelines on each store visit, ensuring the brand is represented to the highest standard.
  • Motivate and empower the team to exceed retail while monitoring productivity
  • Review regularly the performance, opportunities and challenges in individual stores (and across the region) to ensure an appropriate business strategy is applied


Key Competencies/Technical Skills

Experience in selling luxury goods in Qatar essential

Arabic speak is preferred

An highly networked individual is necessary.

Results driven

You must have a genuine affinity with the Luxury Goods industry

Experience in Luxury high end Jewellery preferred.

Good understanding of retail principles and practices
