To ensure the success of our growth plans, there is an opportunity for an experienced Customer Support Representative to join our rapidly expanding team.

 

As a Customer Support Representative you will work within our Operations team in Hamburg providing professional phone and email support to all relevant stakeholders in the Landside Container Logistics market.

 

This role will work on a rotating shift pattern, covering days and evenings. Ability to work flexibly is a must!

 

Specifically, your work and responsibilities will include:

 

·         Being the central point of contact for handling all inbound customer related inquiries.

·         Providing information to customers, and users alike, regarding the various functions of Containerchain products and software.

·         Troubleshoot any specific problems identified, in an effort to resolve, and/or utilise Zendesk (Internal Support System) for lodging and tracking of incidents raised.

·         Liaise with our internal Technical Support team to ensure support issues are followed up, completed and escalated where required.

·         Answering of telephones, provision of assistance to callers and redirection to the appropriate person where required. Respond to email queries and issues also.

·         Identify and assist with scoping proposed system improvements (via Change Request), and follow up issues sent to the Technical Support team regarding problems raised by transport operators.

·         Provision of assistance to the Containerchain transport community with regards to account management including trouble shooting, dispute resolution and payment information.

·         Provide assistance with the administration and support of product deployed hardware such as Handheld MDTs and Forklift Mounted Terminals (tablets).

·         Finally, general ad hoc administrative and office related support to EU colleagues as required.

 

As this role is an important team member in delivering a quality service, a Customer Support Representative must be able to readily demonstrate:

 

·         Significant customer service related experience, ideally from within the logistics industry.

·         Experience or exposure to the container shipping industry, such as depots, terminals or transport comanies would be highly regarded.

·         Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Fluent in both German and English as a minimum.

·         A strong sense of professionalism and drive, a willingness to learn and be flexible in this dynamic environment.
