The Four Seasons Front Desk Receptionist:

The Front Desk Receptionist is a central part of the Front Office Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests have a smooth arrival and departure experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • Ensures the process of the guest checking in and out is completed in an efficient and friendly manner.
  • Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

The ideal Front Desk Receptionist will have:

  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous Front Desk experience in a luxury hotel.
  • Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Good problem solving ability and proficiency in Hotel property management systems such as Opera.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is required. Additional language skills are ideal.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and deliver reports, effective presentations and to facilitate meetings.
  • The Front Desk Receptionist position requires continuous standing for 8 hours a day.
  • Candidates must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
