As a member of our Front Office team you will be responsible for not only meeting our guests’ arrival and departure needs, but for bringing our hotel to life, engaging with our guests and providing true outback hospitality. As a Receptionist you will be the front face of our hotel and the first point of contact, on hand to answer our guest’s enquiries, deal with accommodation issues, provide information on our tours and facilities and of course offer services such as foreign currency exchange. You’ll also be responsible for processing hotel charges to guests’ accounts, ensuring bills are accurate and that payments are processed correctly when guests depart.
To join our Front Office team you will need to have prior experience in either a hotel reception or other similar guest facing role gained within a 4 or 5 star environment. Other reception experience combined with a background within the hospitality industry is highly advantageous but not essential, as is prior experience of working on a remotely operated resort. We would also be particularly interested in candidates that speak Mandarin, Japanese or other major European language. Above all you will need to be a passionate and hardworking individual, with an enthusiastic personality that will enable you connect and converse with our guests who visit us from all over the world, providing them with a comprehensive range of information on what to see and do whilst staying with us.
