We currently have the opportunity for a customer service orientated professional to join our friendly team in the role of a casual Hotel All Rounder (Receptionist/F&B Attendant). This position offers you the opportunity to work in a truly unique hotel property in an exceptional team environment that fosters training and development and career progression.

Reporting to the General Manager and/or his designate, you will be responsible for:

• Providing a personalised service and experience for our guests to enjoy
• Recognising and welcoming regular guests
• Checking guests in and out
• Maintaining accurate guest accounts
• Taking bookings, providing helpful information & entering reservations
• Answering guests queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Addressing guest requests and handling guest complaints in a positive manner
• Liaise with inter departments to assist guest and advise of room moves
• Ensuring service provided by to guest is to hotel standards

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Previous Front Office Reception experience essential preferably in a hotel/motel or resort environment
• Professional telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• A friendly and positive can-do attitude who enjoys working in a team
• Excellent grooming and presentation standards
• Intermediate computer skills – Word, Excel, PMS and Outlook
• Previous experience with FOLS, Fidelio or Opera desirable but not essential
• Current open drivers license desirable but not essential
