Wells Fargo first conducted business in Canada in 1854 and since then has continued to build a strong presence across the country. Wells Fargo now offers a broad range of financial products and services through multiple lines of business operating throughout Canada.

Wells Fargo Equipment Finance Company (WFEFC) is a US Bank-owned leasing/finance company offering financing to businesses for their equipment acquisitions. WFEFC offers leasing and financing directly to businesses for their equipment acquisitions and/or develops programs with manufacturers and distributors to facilitate their equipment sales.

Participates in an internship program with a duration of at least ninety days. Internship includes performing various assignments to become familiar with the organization and gain basic work experience.

  • Participate in prospecting activities to uncover new financing opportunities and support the sales team in their marketing efforts
  • Elaborate Financial Proposals that meet company requirement while providing value add to clients
  • Prepare and thoroughly analyze credit applications from new transactions
  • Prepare investment reviews for existing clients
  • Coordinate with the Documentation team all aspects of the legal and administrative documents necessary for funding transactions
  • Support the credit and sales team in collection efforts and work-out accounts

Market Skills and Certifications

Minimum qualifications:
  • Pursuing Commerce (Finance, Accounting or Economics major) with strong academic achievement
  • Strong leadership, Sales, Presentation and negotiation skills
  • Extracurricular involvements
  • Team Player
