Full-time – Communication and Public Relations - 6 months Internship

Job description:
You are business-oriented; you are looking for an experience in an international company where the main values are team performance, rigor, and excellence. You have a special interest in international projects, and you want to develop your skills in a challenging environment.
Douge International is seeking a motivated and responsible college student or recent graduate pursuing a career in communications and public relations. Our intern will gain experience in a wide range of communications disciplines, including producing digital content, managing internal communications, and public relations.
A potential intern should be comfortable working independently but also working with a team and a supervisor. During your internship, you will be expected to:
1. Support the web and digital aspects by updating and managing content on various platforms, including:
- Leading digital media campaigns (newsletter, e-brochure, banner, etc.)
- Updating the website, and the other platforms where Douge International is present
- Strengthen the overall online presence of Douge International and assessing new potential channels to enter
- Responsible for employee news stories (writing and editing content; coordinating with the internal team)
- Designing and distributing promotional materials for both online and offline platforms
2. Provide communication and brand strategy development (upon discussion with supervisor)
- Brainstorming and proposing ideas relevant to branding strategy for the adopted channels (newspapers, magazines, media, videos, etc.)
- Participating in professional events (forums, university fairs, and related events), with particular focus on the relationship with universities
- Assisting and benchmarking of special events
- Monitoring progression and proposing improvements in communication and brand strategy
- Enabling the expansion of the customer portfolio, using innovative marketing tools to support the company`s business development activity
Profile & Competencies:
- Pursuing a related Master degree, such as Communications, Marketing, Public Relations;
- Present innovative communications objectives, new ideas, and recommendations;
- Ability to compose and put in writing communications directed to the general public.
- Be a quick learner who is self-motivated, organized and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
- Strong computer and technology skills with experience in creating and editing online content.
Languages
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of French is a plus
