Job Oveview:

 

Manager IT Governance & Standards is responsible in assisting and ensuring continuity of best practice service level management processes, executed by IT service delivery staff, as required. This position is also responsible for maintaining a database of existing services offered and received by the IT division.


 Major Responsibilities:

 

    • Gather information necessary for service performance evaluation against SLAs. Assist in reviewing service performance against agreed SLAs and OLAs.

    • Participate in regular service level review process with both the customer and IT service providers and document decisions.

    • Assist in preparing regular reports on service performance and achievements of the customer & IT provider.

    • Develop faults/problem trend analysis and prepare service improvement plans to address identified gaps.

    • Research new technologies and approaches to meeting and exceeding customer needs.

    • Maintain the change management database and process documentation.

    • Assist in managing relationships with vendors providing services to the end users. Attend team/divisional/departmental meetings as required.

    • Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the SM ITG.

    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the SM IT Governance.

    • Any Other Projects Assigned by the Supervisor.


QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE


  • 5 years’ ICT industry experience with 3 years in a similar role.

  • In depth understanding of governance risk and compliance principals and know how to design, implement, maintain and improve a Governance framework.

  • In depth understanding of industry frameworks and standards (ITIL, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, PCI, NIST etc…).

  • In depth understanding of service management principals and international standards.

  • Certified knowledge and proven experience of IT governance / audits.

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and technical skills.

  • Be able to manage projects and people

  • University degree (BSc. / MSc.) in Computer Science/ Information Technology from a recognized university.

  • CISM or CISA certifications.

  • ITIL V3 certifications.
