The National Sales Director is a key position within the senior management structure, reporting
directly to the General Manager and working closely with the global sales function in
Headquarters by leading the overall sales strategy and its delivery within the country.


The National Sales Director will take the lead in sales related procedures, issues and strategies by systematically focusing on improving, supporting and managing the Centers’ operations on a national level. This is a role requiring exceptional leadership skills as it will involve managing a large and diverse team comprised of Centre Directors (CD) and potentially Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).

You will be responsible for meeting growth and sales targets while ensuring that WSE markets
itself as a premium provider with a premium product. You will be looked upon to provide
coaching, structure, feedback and continuous improvement to your Centre Directors and as such will need to apply skills in people management, training needs analysis and delivery, reporting, financial analysis, quality control, customer excellence and recruitment.

You will business partner with the General Manager providing sales strategies translated from
high-level revenue target and must be confident driving change to achieve these.

Essential duties and responsibilities
Includes the following:


• Creation and execution of the annual, quarterly and monthly strategic sales plan in line with
forecasted growth targets.
• Responsible for achieving B2B and B2C sales objectives (monthly, quarterly, annually)
achieved by your CDs/RSMs.
• Responsible for setting the optimum pricing levels and discount rates.
• Partner with Marketing to design and implement marketing plans to drive leads and sales
which should be clearly communicated down to your team.
• Achieve the monthly targets across all Centers in the following key performance areas; -
Sales - Service – Profitability
• Coach and empower your Centre Directors/ASMs to achieve their objectives for sale
revenues and service standards by continuously training, evaluating and monitoring their
progress toward achieving these goals.
• Motivate your sales team by designing and implementing fresh sales incentives and
compensation and benefits to drive performance.
• Partner with HR to put in place joint strategies to retain your sales staff.
• Cost Control: Manage all profit and loss and expenditure items in corporate-owned Centres
by maintaining and improving upon cost, headcount and inventory controls.
• Controlling and analysis of key statistics (daily stats, sales plans etc.)
• Hire and train your CDs/RSMs, by proposing and providing them with the right learning and
development opportunities.
• Creation, implementation and follow up of the monthly offers.
• Responsible for the creation and follow up of sales analysis.
• Planning and leading all sales related meetings with head office staff as well as your
CDs/RSMs
• Lead the resource and facilities planning for the opening of new Centres.
• Produce and provide ad-hoc reports as and when needed by the business.
• Ensure consistency and best practice by assuring Centres are adhering to all WSE policies
and procedures.
• Partner with and support the National Service Manager to ensure synergies are created
between sales and service.
• Lead all performance management activities for your staff ensuring you put in place
systematic and regular reviews to drive the right performance.


Minimum requirements:
· Fluent in local language as well as English (written and spoken)
· Expert in coordinating sales planning and forecasting across a region or country by
assigning sales objectives and goals to a remotely based team.
· Knowledge of general accounting terms/forms/records.
· Has previously implemented complex systems and procedures.
