    Are you intrigued by working for a prominent global cosmetics producer with a rich French history? Our client located in the Toronto Yorkville area is looking for an Operations Manager to plan and forecast inventory, sales and purchasing.

    You'll be supervising and directing their external logistics provider to ensure the right quantities of products at the right times. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about supply chain management, consumer packaged goods and the challenges faced by a rapidly growing organization.


    1. Planning and Forecasting

    • Inventory planning and forecasting by item

    • Coordinate field team allocations

    • Coordinate marketing plans with retailers planners to ensure stocks and launches/focuses in store

    • Suggest to your manager reforcasting based on sell-trough and budget

    • Maintain Navision Warehouse module (sku creation/ deactivation/ Prices etc)

    • Monitor Returns and “Damaged in Field” items

    • Ad hoc administrative tasks as needed


    1. Warehouse Coordination

    • Coordinate shipments and returns with third party warehousing

    • Coordinate labelling and kitting operations with third party warehousing

    • Monitor all retailer orders and provide status updates on orders

    • Prepare purchase orders of inventory from France Head-Office

    • Coordinate shipment from France with freight forwarders and carriers

    • Receive inventory – ensure items received match invoice

    • Invoice customers based on their sales orders

    • Ensure product compliance with Health Canada regulations


    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably Business, or Engineering (Indusrial)

    • Min 2 years logistics experience

    • Min 2 years planning & forecasting

    • Must be proficient in all MS Office applications with advanced skills in Excel.

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Common sense

    • Detail oriented

    • Business oriented

    • Self-motivated and flexible; able to adapt quickly to change

    • Experience with Microsoft Navision an asset
