Job Key Details

Manage all shipping operations to ensure accurate and timely shipping processes
Arrange deliveries and pickups
Design and coordinate administrative activities to ensure accurate results in all aspects of shipping
Make sure all shipping deadlines are met
Organize meetings with the clients to obtain feedback and use it in decision making processes
Carry out negotiations to obtain the best rates
Ensure continuous review and improvement of operational processes to ensure compliance
Possess knowledge of the business context and company profitability
Maintain effective coaching methods throughout the shipping department
Generate and assess quotes for the accounts
Follow up on the key performance indicators to track success of the business

Job Qualifications and Experience

Masters or Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
At least one or more years of experience in the shipping company
Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
Should be a team player and self driven
Strong marketing knowledge required
Must have strong knowledge in shipping documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be computer literate
