Job Description

Vortal’s activity in Italy is increasingly growing with very important projects already in course. As such we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our office in Milan. You will be part of the Italian team, reporting to the Italian Managing Director. Initially you will take care of projecting, configuring, launching and supporting our clients in the implementation of our eProcurement solutions. In this role you will build a solid relationship with the client, with a high level of autonomy in the implementation project.

This new role will gradually take the responsibility of the Public Industry pipeline cooperating with the Managing Director in the pre-sales and sales activity.

 

Responsibilities

• Preparation of functional documentation for implementation, testing and training;
• Preparation of change management documentation – user manuals, product files - in collaboration with marketing teams, designing and maintaining updated the content of our product marketing tools;
• Application of methodologies for requirements gathering and analysis, functional documentation, test cases and their execution;
• Update the knowledge of the Public Law regarding procurement
• Content management of our SaaS application for the Italian market – manage and define contents; translating technical details into business language;
• Analysis / mapping of product, processes and clients’ business requirements and solution configuration;
• Interaction with the commercial and support teams in the pre and post-sale, namely in the training of the internal teams, to enable them to sell and demonstrate the solutions;
• Contact with development, architecture, testing and maintenance teams in order continuously improve our products.
• Functional analysis of the requirements of the prospects/clients
• Preparation of the technical documentation for answering the tenders we participate
• Event preparation and participation

 

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree required, relevant fields of study include Business and Economics;

 

Skills & Knowledge

• Entrepreneurship, tenacity, proactive attitude and creative thinking;
• Deep customer focus and understanding;
• Strong influence and collaboration skills with executive presence;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Excellent written and oral communicator;
• Enthusiasm for technologies;
• Degree in Management, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent;
• Up to 3 years of relevant work experience in eProcurement;
• Good Knowledge of English (written and oral);
• Strong conceptual capacity;
• Ability to establish interpersonal relationships / communication;
• Ability to work in a team and by objectives.
