SENIOR FINANCIAL CONTROLLER AND REVENUE ASSURANCE MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management including revenue assurance, corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Requirements

• University degree
• Minimum 8 years of financial/accounting experience with a strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory reporting, recognized professional qualification in Accounting/Finance e.g.CA/ CPA is preferred
• Experience in People Management – including a demonstrated track record in managing and developing a team of accounting professionals and ability to motivate others
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Experience in ERP sytems
• Fluency in English

Job Description:

• Reports to CFO
• Manages revenue control team of 6 people
• Maintains and improves accounting processes
• Timely closing and reporting on statutory audits
• Represents the Company to external authorities and business community
• Compliance with international and local Accounting Standards
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Gatekeeping for all finance and accounting matters affecting the Financial Statements
• Liaise with all businesses and functions (Tax, Treasury, Legal, Sourcing, etc.) to keep abreast of business activities and new developments
• Provide Accounting guidance to all projects with financial implications for the legal entities
