For our Global Product Management Market department based in Linnich near by Cologne, Düsseldorf and Aachen we are looking for a/an (Senior) Product Manager (f/m/d).

Product Management Market, together with its process partners, develops world-class innovative, sustainable products and services to ensure SIG’s future growth. We position, market and manage our products and services from cradle to grave leveraging our team’s expertise and building upon meaningful market insights.

The Role Will Include The Following Activities

• You analyze the existing product portfolio in a changing competitive environment by using KPIs which have to be developed and you are responsible for the lifecycles of existing products as well as their idea and development roadmaps
• You have a deep knowledge of package environmental aspects and industry challenges
• Together with your process partners you create business cases, initiate innovation projects and provide support during the development phase
• You collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, team members, to ensure a solid and well-rounded understanding of products and developing needs
• You develop marketing concepts to successfully place the products on the market
• You collaborate in bulding and deploying the global pricing strategy
• You actively support customer discussions and build relevant industry networks
• You act as a global driver in all product-related questions for the clusters and for other relevant functions

You are a perfect match for our team if you meet the following requirements:

• Degree in business administration or engineering with product management experience, MBA is considered a plus
• 4+ years of experience in product and porfolio management and 2+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, solutions and company offerings
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• You handle multiple projects simultaneously with ease
• Strong analytical skills including consumer marketing analytics – e.g., experience with targeting analytics, business case development, etc.
• High attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities, while delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to analyze and scope requirements
• Coachable and willing to give, take and apply feedback when necessary
• Open to and eager to learn new concepts and practices
• Effective communication skills: You can speak, write and present ideas eloquently and with purpose as well as the ability to explain complex concepts across the organization and to large audiences
