Role and opportunity description

TandemLaunch has recently closed its third fund with over $30M in capital devoted to building the next 20+ companies. We are expanding our core team to offer even more support for the companies created in our program.  

 

As TandemLaunch Software Architect leader you will be responsible for supporting TandemLaunch Ventures leads in conceptualizing, designing, developing, configuring and implementing their software solutions. You will interact with the Ventures leads, TandemLaunch Product Leader and TandemLaunch Business Development Leader.

 

If you have a proven ability to get software product ideas from concept to revenue, then this position is for you.

What you’ll do:

• Work in a fast-paced and innovative start-up environment
• Lead, mentor and coach TandemLaunch Ventures leads
• Support TandemLaunch Ventures leads in designing and implementing solutions based on their current business strategies and requirements to ensure solutions are aligned with product vision
• Support TandemLaunch Ventures leads in developing their system documentation
• Monitor performance and measure key project parameters by applying appropriate metrics
• Assist TandemLaunch Ventures leads with new product positioning and launching, as appropriate

 

What you’ll need:

• Bach/Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in a software leadership role in start-ups
• Track record of blending technical and business aspects in an innovative for-profit environment
• General project management skills
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Natural mentoring capabilities, passion and an entrepreneurial spirit
