Our client is an organization under one of the Middle East sovereign funds.

With the initiative of promoting and bringing in foreign investments into the country, the authority is setting up infrastructures and tax incentives to encourage foreign investors to expand their footprints in the country.

They are now hiring many professionals from all over the world including this important position.

The incumbent is expected to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and to deliver quality tax services.

This includes create and implement a strategic tax plan, delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the timeframe, building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise, providing innovative tax planning and reviewing complex income tax returns.

You will need to have at least 8 - 10 years of relevant experience as tax manager in Big 4 companies,  excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns, regulatory at the GULF region.

You are expected to be a self-starter, hands-on, independent and possess excellent initiatives to work in a start-up environment which may need to deal with ambiguities.
