Assistant Ranger - Austrailia

We are looking for an Assistant Ranger to join our Community Standards department to assist in administration and enforcement of all provisions in relation to Local Government Law enforcement, to promote Council’s public image and educate the community.

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Providing assistance with the preparation of legal documentation
  • Providing accurate information to the public regarding general enforcement and parking Laws
  • Monitoring of public areas and building sites on an ongoing basis
  • Issuing penalty notices, orders and correspondence
  • Providing relevant law enforcement advice to other areas in Council

To be successful in this position you must have a Class C Drivers Licence and Certificate IV in Regulatory Services, either completed or currently studying and a proven commitment to team outcomes and great customer service, negotiation and persuasive skills.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant. In addition to your salary you will also recieve relevant penalty rates for ordinary hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.
