Business Development Manager to to manage a mix of existing accounts and new business opportunities in the water treatment and renewable energy
- The development of water and waste water treatment projects3.
- O&M of brackish water treatment plants, sea water desalination plants, water well fields, water reservoirs, water pipelines, water networks, pump stations and water filling stations.
- Water & waste water network operations and management.
- Concession Contracts including Build Own Operate (“BOO”) and Build Own Operate Transfer (“BOOT”) structures.
- Demonstrate proactive drive for and follow up on projects while thinking outside the box
- Collaborate with key stakeholders internally to develop, execute, and track new business opportunities.
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Demonstrate proactive drive for and follow up on projects while thinking outside the box
- Collaborate with key stakeholders internally to develop, execute, and track new business opportunities.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients by working close withe the proposal department.
- Developing goals for the company and business growth and ensuring they are met.
- Ability to penetrate in the water and renewable energy industries in KSA, GCC, and international market.
- Establish intelligence database about existing and potential customers.
- Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape.
- Good understanding of the technology trends and innovation in the water and renewable energy sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) in business, marketing or related field.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to interact with senior management effectively.
- Experience in developing new business opportunities, sales, marketing or related field.
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
