Chief Technical Officer for GeoServices platform company

We are exclusively recruiting for a hands on Chief Technology Officer with a proven full-stack Development career background to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of their GeoService Cloud Platform business. As this is a Management Team C-Level opportunity we are looking for a visionary tech professional with exceptional communication and leadership skills who is able to manage, grow and drive the team whilst working effectively with stakeholders and customers.  Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role.

CTO Responsibilities include:

Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with business goals.

Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure.

Manage system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.

Implement, monitor and manage team KPI’s and IT budgets to ensure technological performance.

Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors.

Requirements

Proven career experience as a hands-on CTO, leading Front-end and Software Development teams.

Understanding of budgets and business-planning.

Exceptional communication skills.

A strategic thinker and a natural problem solver.

GEO Services, Satellite, Big Data, IoT or Analytics company industry experience is required.

Based in Munich with offices in the USA, English is their first language and if you speak German that is also a plus.

Education: BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. MBA would be a plus.
