  • The Opportunity

    The donation of gift in kind building supplies by corporations plays a critical role in supporting the homebuilding projects of local Habitats across Canada. The coordinator, product services will report to and work closely with the manager, partner services and stewardship to provide key support to the major and corporate giving team towards the achievement of fundraising targets through supply chain management and coordination of gift-in-kind donations. The coordinator, product services will play a supportive role in the management of Habitat for Humanity Canada’s build gift in kind program including maintaining ordering systems, improving efficiencies, and completing necessary reports.


    The ideal candidate for this position will have strong customer relations and communications skills, as well as high computer literacy with an ability to learn new systems quickly.


    Key Responsibilities                      

    • Perform data input functions including but not limited to purchase orders and new product setup
    • Management of Habitat Canada’s national build gift in kind supply chain including product storage, inventory management and distribution
    • Provide timely and expert service and support to local Habitats
    • Provide regular monthly and annual reports on product inventory and distribution
    • Drive greater efficiencies within current supply chain to better address the needs of local Habitats and national build gift in kind partners
    • Understanding of Raiser’s Edge, ensuring that gift records are entered correctly
    • Assist in the writing of internal and external communications related to our national build gift in kind partnerships including but not limited to e-mails, newsletters, and partner impact reports


    Qualifications

    • Post-secondary degree or equivalent required
    • 2+ years of customer service experience
    • 1+ years of supply chain management experience
    • Familiarity with residential building products and services is an asset
    • Valid driver’s license (some travel required)


    Skills & Attributes

    • Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
    • Experience using Raiser’s Edge considered an asset
    • Ability to analyze data to improve supply chain efficiencies
    • Strong written communications skills
    • Demonstrated ability to relate, converse and develop relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
