Summary
This position is primarily responsible for providing financial expertise and analysis support to the Building Products Division. Responsibilities include Budget and Business Plan Development, Business Decision/Performance Analysis, Monthly and Rolling Forecast Preparation and Consolidation, Analysis of Monthly Results, Capital Investment Analysis and providing Business Decision Support.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office environment is most common. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate in the office Involves some plant site visits in a manufacturing environment. The work environment at the facilities can include excessive noise levels, exposure to weather elements, working around or adjacent to moving and mobile equipment and climbing ladders. Appropriate personal protective equipment including hearing protection, steel toe shoes safety glasses and/or hard hats may be required while working in a facility.

Duties And Responsibilities
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Establishing regular monthly, quarterly, and annual rolling financial results, prepares ad-hoc financial estimates, budgets, and analyses, and ensures that they are all analyzed, commented, and reported according to the instructions received from financial management and external authorities. Consolidate US Compounds and International Compounds results and analysis.
- Maintain and update existing models and processes to streamline the reporting/analysis and forecasting processes to decrease the cycle time and resource requirements
- Prepares statistical studies and economic forecasts of business conditions and trends and draws relevant conclusions as requested.
- Review manufacturing variance analysis and perform operating profit and external sales reconciliations.
- Propose improvements to systems and methods of work and analysis, and contributes to ensuring that they are continuously adapted to business requirements.
- Provide support for SAP, BW, BPC and Salesforce.com digital customer portal and functionality change projects.
- Provide input in preparing monthly and quarterly rolling forecasts. Report and analyze monthly results.
- Utilizing SAP, BW, BPC, and other information databases and data mining tools, perform day to day financial analyses and recommendations in support of business decision making.
- Maintain the budget and business plan data base and programs. Analyze budget/business plan data for reasonableness and propose changes to improve financial performance, submitting findings and interpretations for review.
- Review the budget data loaded into SAP; verify accuracy & integrity of data.
- Help analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance. Evaluates complex profit plans, operating records and financial statements.
- Assists in preparation of studies, reports and analysis in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections and business forecast
- Improve customer profitability analysis.
- B.S. degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, with a CPA or Master’s Degree preferred; 7 plus years of experience which preferably includes:
- Budgeting and forecasting in a manufacturing environment
- Superior data management and modeling skills
- Income and manufacturing variance computation and analysis
- Performing break even and contribution margin studies
- Cost accounting and acquisition experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with Word, PowerPoint, SAP R/3, Business Warehouse, BPC and Microsoft Access experience is highly desirable.
