Our Security and API Management solutions address three interrelated digital infrastructure priorities : the cyber risk, threat and breach prevention, the consumer experience and privacy protection, and the digital transformation scale and velocity.

The purpose of the Security and API Management Consultant is to undertake and effectively implement Identity, Access management and API Management solutions. As a consulting professional, certified in the software, your role will be to provide subject matter expertise across the Security and APIM portfolio. You will work as advisor for new clients and with clients who are already familiar with our technology and enhance their experience of our solutions by providing truly world class levels of expertise to supplement their own.

Responsibilities :

§ Provide demonstrable experience with successful implementations of CA Security and API Management solutions.

§ Demonstrate ability to engage in hands-on implementation of CA solutions at an expert level for all of the individual products described above.

§ Proven understanding of integrations from the CA Security Solution stack to major 3rd party applications such as CRM, HR and other business systems.

§ Possess advanced troubleshooting skills for CA Security and API Management technologies and major 3rd party systems/operating systems upon which they are reliant.

§ Proven understanding of APIs and Microservices based architectures

Requirements:

§ Development background and understanding of JavaScript and JAVA

§ Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON.

§ Understanding of front-end and back-end application development using Agile methodologies.

§ Solid knowledge about computer encryption: symmetric and asymmetric; TLS/SSL protocols.

§ Deep understanding of SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and other Security Authentication and Authorization protocols.

§ Experience with Application Servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere), RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, MYSQL), NoSQL (Cassandra) and Message Bus technologies.

§ Domain Experience within Identity Management, Web Access Management, Security Information Management, and API Management.

§ Holding valid CA Certifications for Security and API Management technologies is a desired qualification.

§ You must have excellent written and oral (English) professional communication and presentation skills.

§ You will have the ability to engage at business and technology levels across customer organizations.

§ You will have a proven background demonstrating strong analytical skills.
