Job Tasks / Responsibilities

• Establish corporate strategies and contribute creatively to implementing greenhouse gas measurement, reduction, offset, and reporting
• Develop strategies for climate change risk mitigation after identifying climate change hazard and vulnerability
• Develop sustainability strategy and action plans tailored to the client organizations aligned with the UN SDGs
• Propose emissions reduction actions and sustainability tasks for each relevant department of an organization
• Track and monitor implementation of greenhouse gas emissions reduction actions and sustainability tasks for an organization’s success in sustainability
• Leading the strategy development and delivery of a range of climate and carbon projects, from developing carbon footprints, supporting compliance and wider reporting to setting targets and developing business cases for delivering on ambitious goals
• Research, draft, edit, and create content on sustainability-related topics for diverse audiences in a variety of formats, including but not limited to: emissions reduction opportunities, energy management, sustainable development, health and the built environment, etc.
• Prepare various forms of public reports and public communication materials for public engagement and announcement
• Lead effective meetings and stakeholder groups and participate in regional and international sustainability events as a sustainability representative
• Act as one of the key in-house experts on all climate change and sustainability related issues

Experience and Qualification

• At least 5 years of work experience in corporate sustainability and climate change related role
• Practical knowledge and experience in implementation of corporate sustainability management and GHG management programs
• Data management and analysis for carbon footprint calculation, reporting, and verification
• Knowledge of international sustainability agendas (especially the UN SDGs) and carbon market/ trading/ pricing
• Advanced MS Excel based data analysis skills and MS PowerPoint presentation preparation ability
• Keep abreast of new technologies and developments in the industry.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex climate information to non-scientists to inform decision making processes
• Working in a rigorous manner to deliver accurate, high quality, engaging and client-ready outputs.
• Knowledge of and a passion for sustainability related areas or topics
• Knowledge of assurance systems and audit protocols
