An exciting opportunity is available for a Business Excellence Consultant to join our Siemens Energy team on a fixed term arrangement. The primary responsibility of this role will be to consult in business excellence projects, conduct analyses, identify strengths and weak points and define actions for improvement. This role will report directly to the Siemens Energy CFO.

The main focus of your role will be to consult with the business to support the set up of highly functioning and efficient governance, policies, processes and support functions for the new stand-alone legal entity.

You will work closely with the leadership team to establish a stand-alone concept and set up interface with local and HQ workstreams. Your key responsibilities would include but not limited to:

• Analyse business processes with respect to standardization, simplification, integration and discontinuance.
• Identify strengths and weak points, defines and recommends improvement actions, and discuss possible action plans with accountable management.
• Contributes to Business Excellence project proposals, calculates cost/benefits, resources and budgets needed and provides respective plans and schedules to customer.
• Supports monitoring of improvement effects, triggered by Business Excellence projects, and reporting to all stakeholders.

This role will be a four-month fixed term contract with potential to extend. In order to succeed in the role, you will need to demonstrate extensive experience in project execution, leadership and general management. You will have excellent critical problem-solving skills and communication skills to drive excellence through your key stakeholders. You will also have full working rights in Australia.
