About the role
Temporary part- time Student Surveyor

The position will work within the Survey and Spatial Data Team of the broader Civil Infrastructure Team on a diverse range of survey and titling projects from inception, to legal documents maintaining a high level of quality and integrity.

Under guidance and supervision, your responsibilities will include but not limited to;
  • Assist Council Surveyor & Engineers in the collection of field and civil asset data
  • Utilise CAD software Research land records, survey records and land titles
  • Redefining Road & Property boundary Consultation of stakeholders (internal & external)
  • Apply time management skills to achieve completion of tasks ensuring deadlines are successfully achieved

About the person
With the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and design teams, you must be currently undertaking a recognised degree qualification in Surveying, eligible for 3rd or 4th year student. You will have sound communication, negotiation and advocacy skills with the capability in preparing reports, correspondence, technical drawings and graphic presentations. Some experience in the field of Civil Engineering Design with some computer literacy, previously using; will see you succeed in this role.

  • Microsoft Officer Suite
