Description

JOB PURPOSE

To devise and implement effective sales strategy in order to accomplish business targets of branches assigned in the Area. To effectively lead branches for acquiring new business relationships, referrals and retention / growth in existing relationships through quality service delivery & offering of different bank products.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MONITORING:

  • To develop & implement action plans for the Area branches and proactively support them to achieve product wise business targets within given time frame.
  • Identify new business opportunities and clients within assigned area to enhance business.
  • To conduct regular Business Review Meetings and ensure regular interaction with BMs, RMs, branch staff for providing guidance as & when needed.
  • Branch visits on random basis to interact and motivate the field force.To promote extensive sales of new & existing products of the Bank through assigned branch network.To recommend new delivery channels avenues via Annual Expansion plan.

RISK MANAGEMENT & COMPLIANCE:

  • To ensure proper implementation of bank’s KYC / AML policy guidelines and other regulatory policies implemented by Bank & SBP from time to time.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

  • Ensure outlook and ambiance of the assigned branches as per the bank standards for better customer experience.
  • To liaise with Operations &Service quality for smooth branch functions & service quality.
  • To ensure resolution of customer complaints & queries within acceptable timelines.
  • Coordination with support functions to ensure customer satisfaction.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Lead the team by setting individual objectives, reviewing performance/appraisals and providing on-going feedback on a formal & informal basis so that all staff remains aware of what they are required to achieve and how they are performing against their objectives.
  • Identify training & development needs of the people & ensure their capacity development.
  • Recommend talent hiring & identifying the right resource within the team for the right job.
  • To enhance employee productivity through motivation and team play.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

  • To ensure that all the branch expenses are occurred within approved budget.
  • Monitor and review financial information, updating where necessary in order to identify any anomalies or discrepancies and ensure management has access to up to date and accurate information.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Graduate, MBA preferred.

Minimum experience:

  • 6 – 8 years of banking experience.
