The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
· Positively represent the company, developing relationships with the appropriate stakeholders
both internally and externally. Be a brand ambassador for Tecna UK at all times.
· Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers,
products and services.
· Understand the company’s promotional strategy and marketing activities so targeted
customer development can be achieved.
· Generate leads of prospective customers / organisations.
· Seek out the appropriate contacts in those customers / organisations and cold call to
generate interest in our products and services.
· Understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to
meet their requirements.
· Handle inbound sales leads generated through Marketing Activity, Web site, E-shop and
Trade Shows.
· Take customer briefs and enquiries ensuring all the information required is clear and accurate.
· Input new customer data into the CRM system.
· Ensure all data held in the CRM system is up to date and GDPR compliant.
· Liaise with the Project Management Team to ensure the above is actioned within company
guidelines.
· Have an excellent understanding of the company’s products and services and be able to
advise customers on them.
· Liaise with existing partners to identify opportunity for growth and schedule appointments
for the Field-based Sales Team.
· Seek ways of improving the way we communicate with our customers in order to contribute
to the Sales and Marketing strategies.
· Attend internal and external events where appropriate and assist with arrangements.
Qualifications
· Previous experience within Business Development and Internal Sales roles.
· Have the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
· Highly motivated and target driven.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills.
· Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
· CRM experience is preferred.
