  • Phaedra Solutions, a technology consulting company is looking for a hardworking and driven Business Development Officer to support our Software Services Domain. As a BDO inducted in the Software Solutions team, you will be an essential member of a cutting-edge agile team responsible for hunting, qualify, closing deals, researching organizations and individuals to identify new leads and potential markets.


    If you are passionate about collaborating and working with skilled Software Engineers and Product Managers in creating high-quality software for customers, this role is for you.


    Experience: 2+ years of Business Development experience

    Primary/Essential Duties And Key Responsibilities


    • Acquiring business through different channels (Upwork, Freelancer, Fiver, Guru, PeoplePerHour).
    • Prior experience in bidding with grip on Upwork and Freelancer.com etc. is must.
    • Acquiring business through outbound calling & email campaigns.
    • Quality project selection and bidding.
    • Writing proposals and customizing each proposal based on the nature of the project.
    • Project price estimation, quote, proposal creation, followup with client and closure.
    • Gather client requirements, communicate the requirements with the team and deliver the project to the client. Communicates on phone, chatting applications and Skype depending on the requirement from the client
    • Maintain very high rating on all platforms.
    • Maintain a healthy relationship with the client(s) and keep a strong follow up.
    • Experience with interacting with clients in US/ UK / Canada / Australia is a must.
    • Convert the leads into sales opportunities.
    • Maintain and update the CRM with accurate data on regular basis.
    • Focused on customer satisfaction and ensure to resolve all the issues vigilantly.

    • A-Levels/Graduates /Post Graduate.
    • Ambitious, Passionate and Target Oriented.
    • Strong Sales and Marketing skills.
    • Experienced in Selling IT Solutions.
    • Aptitude to Multitask and Prioritize.
    • Exceptional Communication Skills with expertise in English language.
    • Have Effective Time Management and Organizational Skills.


    • Excellent Basic Salary + Commission will be awarded, with different commission slabs as per the sales target. This is a sales target-based job, so only 2+ years experienced candidates are requested to apply.
