At SHL, the global leader in talent innovation, we are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Senior Business Development Manager you will target top executives of potential client companies, identify sales opportunities, build and present solutions, and drive the pivotal moment where leads become sales, reaping the rewards of negotiating contracts to a successful close.

Key Responsibilities

Client development
  • Actively hunts for business with Enterprise organizations
  • Initiates and develops strong business relationships with C-Level, HR and critical line management across the client organizations
  • Develops and uses (external and internal) network to generate business and ensure pipeline creation

Delivery
  • Delivers sales presentations to high-level executives such as CHRO, HRD, BU Leaders & C-Levels
  • Creates innovative proposals and client led solutions around the employee lifecycle and from board level to floor
  • Ensures implementation of subscription contracts for recurring needs
  • Leverages organizational resources to fulfill client needs


Core Skills And Content Development
  • Is an expert in all core selling areas
  • Contribution to creation and implementation of business planning and strategy execution
  • Develops, applies and shares specialist content knowledge
  • Knowledge management
  • Internal administration

People development
  • Acts as a mentor for less experienced colleagues and is a “Sales Challenger” role model.


Company Representation

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Significant successful sales experience: including proven experience in high level negotiations
  • Strong solution solutions sales experience, ideally from a Consulting or Business Services background
  • Demonstrated ability to serve in a role with revenue responsibility and able to meet monthly, quarterly and annual financial goals
  • Experience selling to HR and/or C Level, with strong current network
  • Excellent business English and fluent/native German language
  • Strong networking and negotiation skills


Our Ideal Candidate Also Has
  • Possesses a Bachelors or Master’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, or business-related discipline
  • Understand and believe in the value of Talent Measurement in strategic human capital solutions
  • Strong networking and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple commercial processes
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
