We are now looking for someone to drive traffic and boost social media numbers and engagement.

This High-caliber Individual Will Need To

Commercial Interior Design is looking for a Digital Content Editor to manage its growing portfolio of digital assets.

• Understand and use Google Analytics Trends and News to grow traffic
• Understand and use social media channels to drive traffic and build brand engagement
• Champion online content for the site and social media
• Ensure the timely publication of daily newsletters (including the non-core magazine newsletters)
• Know and understand the site's historical traffic drivers
• Hit page impression, sessions and unique visitor traffic targets
• Write exclusive news, features, interviews and case studies for the website and magazine
• Keep abreast of changes with SEO and social media methodology
• Understand and respond to the cultural context in which we operate
• Source high quality pictures, using ITP photographers wherever possible
• Search out informative data and make creative use with infographics either for the sites or social media channels
• Ensure the accuracy of all facts, figures and names
• Create content (print, digital, video, social) that is valuable to readers and offers commercial opportunities
• Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with sales
• Own, manage and lead the brand's awards programme
• Promote brand extensions, including awards and conferences and develop effective content plans for them; highlighting how they can
• be used to maximise traffic
• Set an example with your enthusiasm, personal conduct and approach to solving problems

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have at least three years’ experience working on design-based title, be bursting with energy and ideas and keen to pursue the next phase of their career in the Middle East. Strong writing, web, social media and video publishing skills are a must for this role. Familiarity with the Middle East is desirable.

• A minimum of three years’ experience working in a features editor or deputy editor role, proven track record on delivering online audiences is vital for this role
• Experience of managing social media for a publication. Knowledge of the construction/engineering industry
• Degree in media, journalism, business, English
• Additional journalist and/ online skills
• In-depth understanding of social media and online publishing
• Expert knowledge of Google Analytics, Trends and News
• Good understanding of SEO and great writing/subbing
• Sound political judgement and Commercial awareness
• Creative and relentless attention to detail
• Time management skills
• Relationship building
