Creative content producer

Company Name: The Strategy Department
Location: England
You will work closely with comms and policy colleagues to deliver high quality, targeted multimedia content that meet campaign objectives. You will be responsible for evaluating performance and providing creative advice and insight for future activity.

In addition you will be responsible for an account area, providing internal clients with content advice and design/production support. You will lead on developing longer-term creative strategies for your areas and for upskilling colleagues to self-serve on basic design tasks.

As part of a team, you will report to a Senior Digital Communications Manager and support the team's wider functions. These include asset management, maintaining brand standards, and sharing digital best practice in cross-Whitehall digital and communications groups.

You'll be expected to be multi-skilled, able to deliver a range of projects at the same time, often with demanding deadlines. You must have excellent organisation, planning and time management skills.

This is a fast-paced, high-profile role and you must work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, with an ability to adapt swiftly to changing circumstances. You will also be expected to undertake occasional out of hours/weekend working.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a creative, enthusiastic self-starter with strong production, design and written communication skills.

You will have a keen eye for design, excellent copy-editing skills, and at least 2 years' experience in communications and/or design or production work.

Prior Adobe suite (or equivalent) experience is desirable but not essential. If you don't currently have design skills, you will be expected to use these programmes regularly, so you must be genuinely interested to learn and be ready to train quickly.

You will be asked to provide a portfolio of creative work you have produced or developed, if you are invited to interview.

You must be enthusiastic about learning new software, techniques and disciplines and have a strong understanding or interest in branding and design principles and theory.

You must understand how digital plays a part in the broader communications and brand world, and have a strong interest in digital trends and innovations.
