Distribution Analyst (Technical Analyst)
Reporting to Manager, Engineering Services, you will be responsible for carrying out various capital and process related change management projects focused on technical analysis of all production and maintenance operations at the automated Durham RSC.

Identifying RCA to problems
Developing solutions to effectively serve level improvements (Quality & up-time) and cost efficiency in areas such as equipment life-cycle management, process reliability; productivity & labour utilization and operationalization of SOP’s and OCM inclusive of stakeholder on-the-job training
Collaborating closely with health & safety, procurement, front-line operations, facility maintenance, IT systems and adhere to LEAN/Agile end-to-end project coordination methodologies supporting due diligence
Conducting Cost benefit analysis (ROI) and liaise with contracted or prospective external equipment/service providers
Overseeing contractor and supplier compliance
Maintaining the Durham Asset Management program
What will you bring to the team?
Extensive knowledge and experience in automated warehouse operations and technical change management projects in a bargaining unit environment
Post-secondary education in: Engineering and/or management science degree or advanced diploma or equivalent industry work experience
Requires exceptional interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
Sound Knowledge of logistics procedures and practices; warehouse fundamentals and inventory management are essential as is demonstrated success in a technical capacity in a unionized environment
Must possess strong mechanical aptitude, experienced with improving mechanical components of the systems
General knowledge is required in the areas of facility capital & contract management, procurement sourcing and OEM compliance
Excellent developed verbal and written communication skills are essential to the position
Proficient Microsoft office skills (Excel, Access, Word & Outlook) and WMS (internal to LCBO or externally acquired)
Knowledge in AutoCAD and MS Project would be an asset
Knowledge of the Occupational health and Safety Act and ISO & CSA standards relevant to industrial sites
Must be able to work all shifts (day shift: 8AM-4PM, afternoon shift: 4PM-12AM and night shift: 12AM-8AM)
