Reporting to the Head of Production, you will be working on a wide range of projects from YouTube series’ to individual high-end creative content. You will be exceptionally organized, experienced and motivated and will juggle the complex process of managing multiple jobs coming into the department, whilst keeping on schedule, and dealing with day-to-day communication with the rest of the Post team.  


Key Responsibilities:


  • Liaising with Producers and Production Managers on incoming jobs to help advise on timings for ingest and final post prep, camera workflows and how that affects the projects.
  • Preparing fixed workflows for DITs/crew members on set to archive and process rushes.
  • Overseeing ingesting and logging rushes including QC checks on import.
  • Creating and adhering to digital workflows and processes, staying abreast with industry standards.
  • Continually working with the post team to make sure that the server and software structures are established. Briefing freelance staff on these structures to ensure the smooth running of the post production process.
  • Onboard freelancers with our work processes, creating documents for them if necessary.
  • Prepping for grades and conforming using Premiere and DaVinci.
  • Ensuring export and import from audio houses adhere to our workflow, and liaising with audio houses where necessary.
  • Helping the wider post team with technical issues.
  • Server maintenance.
  • Maintaining and managing the LTO Archive.
  • Supporting Production Bookings Manager with any timing queries and assisting when possible with Farmers Wife inputting and enquiries.
  • Assisting with logging and maintaining of all relevant equipment.
  • Liaising with consultants and Head of Operations for any complex issues, as required.
  • Collaborating with Head of Production with the outsourcing of operations to and from our international offices.
  • Work with Head of Production on compliant delivery systems and QC process for output of projects. 
  • Ensure that company owned AV equipment is in good working order, and using this for internal filming of ad hoc meetings, as well as our company-wide weekly huddle. 


Key Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe CC.
  • Experience with transcoding and file management.
  • Interest in new technologies.
  • Experience creating EDLs OMFs and AAFs.
  • Knowledge of camera formats.
  • 3+ years experience in Edit Assistant role.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
