The Financial Ombudsman Service is committed to providing excellent customer service and to the development of its employees. So, we have recently introduced an exciting opportunity for our investigator role which includes an enhanced learning element. As an investigator, you'll help sort out financial services problems for the people who come to our service for help. Working as part of a small team supported by an ombudsman manager, you'll be accountable for investigating things thoroughly and getting to the bottom of our customers' complaints. One of the key benefits of this opportunity is that you will be supported in studying and working towards a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist qualification!. To be considered for the role, you'll need:.Worked in an environment where you have managed and prioritised a caseload, dealt with claims or complaints. Clearly and confidently communicate decisions with sound justification. * the ability to evaluate evidence using sound judgement and empath y. * the ability to work autonomously and take ownership for your own workload. 5 GCSE passes, grade A - C or 4 - 9 or equivalent. Must be able to commit to full time work (35 hours per week). The start date for this specific opportunity is 21 October 2019 (this is a fixed start date).
